Where is the best place to live in Edinburgh?
I am looking for an opportunity to go there but I really do not know the city and its areas, so I'm really looking for some information as how much is the monthly rent for a studio flat, transport, etc. I am also looking for a job in Design, CAD, product development, etc! Does anyone know anything about it?
I would say Leith, as it is near the center of Edinburgh, excellent transport links, there is a little history, good places to eat outside and not as busy as the center of Edinburgh. I think it is better compared to prices and Morningside and Corstorphine to say so in Edinburgh Rent can be anything up to a thousand dollars a month, depending on the property and position. It may be better trying to South Queensferry which is part of Edinburgh, but 10 miles, offers easy commuting links ie the train station and bus lanes during peak hours.
